Equal access in United States housing

TruAcres does not permit housing preference, exclusion, targeting, or steering based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, or disability. These are the federal protected bases listed in HUD's current Fair Housing Act overview.

  • Restricted search or targeting requests are stopped instead of silently rewritten.
  • Listing copy that expresses an unlawful preference or exclusion cannot be published.
  • Lead assignment is based on the listing and authorized workspace membership, not a buyer's identity or inferred traits.
  • United States AI lead scoring and paid featured-placement effects are unavailable in the current release.

Objective property information remains useful

The safety policy is designed to preserve consistently supplied, objective housing information while preventing protected-class targeting.

  • Price, property type, size, bedrooms, accessibility features, and an explicitly selected location can be used.
  • Objective school distance, amenity distance, and commute time can be shown when they are not used as proxies for protected-class preference.
  • An ambiguous request may require human review instead of producing a public result or automated action.

Coverage and limitations

TruAcres currently has no selected United States state or metro regulatory profile and no connected official-source verification. A browse route or displayed listing does not mean that a regulator, licence, title, parcel, permit, or disclosure source is connected.
